Protex Skin Care Tips for Men

protex skin care tips for men

Everyone needs a good skincare routine that helps keep their skin healthy and protected, and men are no exception. Did you know that men’s skin is different from women? Men need products that are specifically developed for their skin’s unique needs. See what else you can do to protect your skin health.

Wash Your Face:

Wash your face twice a day, in the morning and at night. This helps remove sweat and natural oils that build up on your face throughout the day. How should you wash your face? Wet your face with lukewarm water, then apply a gentle facial cleanser that will help remove impurities, control oiliness and help protect against germs.

Take a Shower or Bath:

Your skin works to protect you against germs. By keeping it clean, you’re helping it perform at its ultimate best. It’s important to take a bath or shower after exercising. This removes sweat, dirt and excess sebum from the body, helping to prevent clogged pores and skin rashes.

Tip: Use lukewarm water. An extremely hot shower or bath can affect the skin’s natural protective layer and cause dry skin.

This is an important step of any skincare routine, even for guys. Regularly exfoliating controls oiliness, removes dead skin cells, and promotes cell renewal. Gently exfoliate once or twice a week for brighter, healthier looking skin.

Keeping your skin moisturised helps reduce dryness and oiliness. It also helps protect your skin against sensitivity and pimple breakouts.

Care for Your Beard:

Self-grooming should be an essential part of every man’s self-care regimen. Ideally, you should shave your beard immediately after bathing, when your skin is smoother, softer and cleaner, reducing the risk of sensitivity

Whether you’re soaking up the sun, or spending time indoors, don’t forget to apply sunscreen. It helps protect your skin from harmful UV rays that can cause sunburn and skin cancer. Apply sunscreen on your face and arms every two hours. Do this after sanitising and moisturising your skin.
